Privacy & Security
Your DNA, Your Control
🔒 Zero-Storage Model
We never permanently store your raw DNA data. Your file is processed in memory and immediately deleted after your report is generated. This means your genetic information never sits on our servers.
How We Protect Your Data
1. Secure Transmission
All data transmitted to and from Unrvl is encrypted using industry-standard TLS/SSL protocols. This means your DNA file is protected from the moment you upload it.
2. Temporary Processing Only
- Your DNA file is uploaded to secure, encrypted storage
- Analysis happens in a protected environment
- Your report is generated
- All uploaded data is immediately and permanently deleted
3. No Third-Party Sharing
We never sell, share, or provide your genetic data to third parties. The only exception would be if legally required by court order, which has never happened.
4. Minimal Data Retention
We only retain:
- Your email address (for report delivery)
- Anonymized statistics about processed reports (no genetic information)
- Transaction records (for billing purposes only)
Your Security Questions Answered
What happens to my DNA file after analysis?
It's permanently deleted from our servers within 24 hours of upload. We don't keep backups or archives of your raw genetic data.
Can you access my DNA data later?
No. Once it's deleted, it's gone forever. If you want another report in the future, you would need to upload your file again.
Is my data encrypted?
Yes. Your data is encrypted both in transit (when uploading) and during processing. We use AES-256 encryption, the same standard used by banks and governments.
Who can see my genetic information?
Only our automated analysis system processes your DNA. No human ever views your raw genetic data. Our staff only see anonymized statistics.
What about my report?
Your PDF report is delivered via email. We don't store copies of individual reports on our servers. The report is yours to keep and manage.
Data Protection Compliance
